The River Valley Beekeepers Association will be conducting a beginner beekeeping class on February 11th and 18th. Different topics will be presented each evening, so you will want to attend both evenings in order to get full benefit. Topics covered include:

• Beekeeping equipment
• Transferring purchased bees (e.g. Nucs) to a hive
• Honeybee life cycle
• Pest management
• Honeybee forage sources
• Hive inspection
• Feeding your bees

The classes run from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the West Side Church of Christ Family Center, 201 N Waco Ave, Russellville. The cost for the class is $10 per person and is collected when your register. (Credit card charge shows up as "GDP*GDP*RIVER VALLEY B.")

Seating is limited, so reserve your spot now. When you register for the class on the 11th, you are automatically registered for the class on the 18th.
